Having just seen Bat For Lashes play an amazing show just a few days ago with a backing band made up of members of Ash and New Young Pony Club, I decided to revisit the “Daniel” video.  It’s just as good as it was the first time around.

Fever Ray – Solo Project from The Knife

Front-woman of Swedish electro-duo The Knife, Karin Dreijer Andersson, will release her first solo album this spring, under project name “Fever Ray.”  The self-titled album will be available March 23rd, a week after the release of the digital single ‘If I Had A Heart’.  Check out the amazing video.

The Comsat Angels reunite

The Comsat Angels were a UK post-punk band that exsisted from 1978-1995.  If you don’t have the reissues that Renascent have been releasing over the last few years, do yourself a favor and grab them.  In any case, I’m getting away from the point here.  The band have just announced that they’re playing their first show in 13 years this coming April.

Unfortunately, said show is in Sheffield UK.  Our fingers are crossed that they’ll make it to our side of the pond.  LISTEN HERE.

From www.comsatangels.net – The Comsat Angels will be playing live for the 1st time since 1995, in Sheffield in April, as part of Sheffields annual Sensoria Music and Film Festival.

The concert will take place on Sunday 26th April 2009 at the 02 Academy in Sheffield. The band will be playing material from the first 3 albums for this show.

Ok, I’m going to say it. Home Video sound like Radiohead.  There’s no way around it.  And their new EP (which you can DOWNLOAD for FREE from www.homevideo.fm), is called It Will Be OK. That’s a little too close to OK Computer, don’t you think?

They should be really easy to write off, right?
